How we help

Services & Support

We meet families where they are — practically and personally.

Our approach starts with a conversation, not a form. Every family’s situation is different, and our job is to remove the barrier that’s making a hard week harder.

A vintage suitcase, glasses, and a small map by a window with sunlit lavender curtains and a vase of purple flowers — quiet evening before a journey for care.

Specialty Care and 2nd Opinions

Travel, hotel, airline, and food expenses for families seeking second opinions and specialty medical care not available in their area of care. The foundation cannot cover all cost but will assist and help identify local areas and discounts.

A sunlit kitchen counter with a mug, notebook, and a child’s crayon drawing of a house and family taped to the cabinet — a parent’s morning paused at home.

Loss of Wages

Many of the families we have supported required financial support as they have been pulled away from their job to care for their child. The foundation assists with short-term support.

A quiet still life on a linen runner: a stoneware vase of purple lisianthus and white anemones with an olive branch beside a lit candle in golden hour light.

Funeral Expenses

In some instances many of our families were unable to cover the cost of funeral expenses for their child. We help ease that weight so families can grieve.

A care basket with purple blankets, a thermos, and a lantern resting on a quiet porch at dawn beside a lavender plant — dropped off for a family in crisis.

Catastrophic and Disaster Related Needs

The Live Like London Foundation has helped families that were victims of fires, impacted by natural disasters, providing clothing, financial assistance, furniture, and more.

An open journal with a fountain pen, a small bundle of lavender tied with twine, and a teacup with purple flowers in soft window light — the conversation worth having.

Medical Power of Attorney

We encourage families to talk and plan for sudden urgent medical needs. Parents often don’t understand the complexity of not having a medical power of attorney for an adult child. Completing one allows open conversations about how a loved one wants to be cared for and who they trust to fulfill their healthcare preferences.
